Kirkley Hall Countryside Christmas Fair returns to town

Christmas must be around the corner as Kirkley Hall is preparing for their annual Countryside Christmas Fair, which returns later this month.

The fair which attracts thousands of people from all over the region returns to Kirkley Hall, near Ponteland, on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 November with a host of attractions to entertain all members of the family.


Visitors can buy presents from over 120 local sellers, where businesses will be showcasing a varied range of their handmade gifts, toys, crafts and tasty food from around the region.


In addition to the wide range of authentic crafts and gifts, there will be a Santa's Grotto and a range of family friendly activities and entertainment on offer, including pony rides, fairground rides including a Thomas the tank train ride, dressed up characters, balloon making and a bubble entertainer.


Guests can also enjoy entry to Kirkley Hall Zoological Gardens which is now home to over 200 species of animals including our festive reindeers, meerkats and lemurs.


A hog roast and refreshments will be available to purchase on the day.


Gates will be open from 10am to 4pm. Entry costs £5 per person which includes entry to Kirkley Hall Zoological Gardens. Please note parking will be in the field due to the popularity of the event.


Further activities at Kirkley Hall throughout the festive season include a special children's breakfast with Santa, family Zoo tours and Christmas craft days, festive afternoon teas, Christmas lunches and much more.
