The free event will take place 10am - 3pm on Saturday 26 April at the Ashington Campus, on College Road.
The event will have something for everyone with fairground rides, face painting, Bollywood and belly dancing workshops and animal handling sessions with animals from the college's Kirkley Hall Zoological Gardens attraction.
Visitors will be able to pick up a perfect gift from local crafters and enjoy a range of refreshments from light bites and snacks to ice cream and doughnuts.
Stuart Cutforth, Principal of Northumberland College said: "We are looking forward to our community open day, there will be plenty for all the family to see and do.
"We wanted to engage with the local community and provide a fun family day out with an exciting atmosphere. We hope to see lots of faces on campus that day."
In addition to the attractions, people can talk to tutors and advisors about the range of courses and support available at all college campuses and try their hand at practical courses with exciting have-a-go workshops.
Have-a-go workshops include a pop up photo studio, hand massages, floristry demos, fitness checks, baking master classes and many more.
Courses are available for all ages whether they are interested in learning something new, looking for a career change or a new hobby, or wondering what to do when they leave school.
