Who is the course for?
The BA in Education and Professional Development is particularly suitable for people who want to progress from a Certificate in Education to a degree, and will help you build further on the skills, knowledge and understanding developed as part of your studies. The course will help you explore a range of policy, theory and practice within the context of your own work. It also provides you with opportunities to reflect upon your own personal and professional development, to carry out research, and work on topics that have practical benefits to you and your organisation. Existing teaching and learning experiences will be used to plan and explore new ways of developing and understanding contemporary good practice.
Do I need any formal qualifications?
This course is primarily aimed at those working either within the education and training sector who already have a Certificate in Education Level 5 or a Level 5 teaching/training/education qualification.
It takes two years (part-time) to attain the degree and you can choose to complete either an unclassified degree or a degree with honours.
College interview is required.
