Advanced Excel Spreadsheets - Short Course

This intensive hands-on one-day training course has been designed to provide delegates with a solid understanding of advanced Excel 2007, 2010, 2013 or 2016 tools and concepts in order to increase their knowledge and productivity.

 Grouping & Outlining and Subtotals
Useful Excel functions to summarise a spread-sheet making the data easier to identify and explain.
 What-If Analysis
Tools designed to help with forecasting and finding solutions to complicated problems in-volving your spreadsheet's data and formulas.
 PivotTables
Creating Pivot Tables in order to display and summarise large quantities of data effectively.
 Advanced Excel Tasks
Looking at sharing Excel files along with adding hyperlinks and Custom AutoFill Lists.
 HLOOKUP and VLOOKUP Functions
Exploring the different Lookup functions, ideal add further functionality to a spreadsheet to reference particular data quickly and effectively.
 Introduction to Macros in Excel
Explore how to create Macros and introducing Visual Basic for Applications, the application Macros are created in.

Users with a good understanding of Microsoft Excel 2007, 2010, 2013 or 2016 who want to expand on their capabilities in a short space of time. Delegates should have a good working knowledge and understanding of the concepts covered in the Introduction course

This course can be delivered on your premises or within Northumberland College campuses.
It is a mixture of classroom work and practical activities using ICT.

This course is assessed by a practical activity in spreadsheets.
On successful completion of the course, the learner will receive a certificate from Northumberland College.

Learners can progress onto other courses such as Word, Advanced Word or PowerPoint De-tails are available upon request.
