What’s it all about?

Media make-up is a rapidly growing profession within the film, industry TV and theatre, media, fashion and photography industries with exciting career opportunities. You will be involved with lots of exciting, highly practical projects and live briefs during your course.

You will need the minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade 4 or above. You will be invited to attend a portfolio interview with the course leaders.

The work you complete on the course will be project lead and based very much on real work developed by you in response to the project you have been set. The work you produce will be assessed by a range of methods including practical assessments/ observations, written assignments.

English and Maths are important life skills that will help you to achieve your best in your studies and progress to your dream career. If you have not already achieved grade 9-4 in GCSE Maths and/ or English at school, we will support you to improve your skills.

The course runs four days per week, Mon-Fri, 9am-4pm. Days and times of study are subject to change. Timetables are confirmed at the start of term.
