This course if for those who want to train to work as a beauty specialist or consultant in a beauty salon.
You will study more advanced treatments in facials, make-up, waxing, nail enhancements and eyelash treatments. You will develop the underpinning knowledge to allow you to progress in the industry. Ideal if you are interested in cosmetic services and would like to work in beauty salons, or as a beauty therapist or consultant.
You should have a minimum grade 3 in both GCSE English and maths. A previous Level 1 in a relevant area would also be desirable however attitude and behaviour are as important on these courses. You must also have an interest in working with the public and have a high level of personal presentation.

Your progress will be assessed by written and practical assessments and will also be monitored through a tutorial system with discussion and target setting.
English and Maths are important life skills that will help you to achieve your best in your studies and progress to your dream career. If you have not already achieved grade 9-4 in GCSE Maths and/ or English at school, we will support you to improve your skills.
