This course is for anyone who would like an introduction to the agriculture industry. It is suitable for school leavers or adults looking for either progression or a change in career.
You will need to have an interest in agriculture and possess a standard of general education and competence, but no formal qualifications are necessary. Assessment of suitability is likely to be based upon interview.

Your progress will be assessed by a multiple choice test, externally set assignments and a portfolio of evidence.
English and Maths are important life skills that will help you to achieve your best in your studies and progress to your dream career. If you have not already achieved grade 9-4 in GCSE Maths and/ or English at school, we will support you to improve your skills.
The course runs three days per week.
This course is for anyone who would like an introduction to the agriculture industry.
You will study tractor driving, estate maintenance, functional skills and an introduction to farm animal production.
