This course concentrates on how to dismantle trees using ropes to lower sections safely to the ground.
It covers the following: understand the risk assessment & emergency procedures on a work site including current H&S requirements & best practice, identification and assessment of the tree, understand tree rigging uses and limitations and associated control measures, understand how to layout a worksite and implications for ground crew and workflow, understand how to select compatible components to make up the rigging system, able to inspect access and rigging equipment, understand how to select work positions, anchor points and drop zones, how to calculate anticipate loads, minimze shock loading, understand what and how to use the different techniques, understand how to best remove tree sections using suitable cuts and techniques.
