The opportunity to support the delivery of PE across the whole school and other curriculum areas in a primary school setting. Successful candidates will be based in a primary school for 5 days per week and work some evenings up to 5pm delivering after school clubs linked to various sports. The apprentice would be expected to follow the school’s PE
Sports leadership/coaching qualifications or experience
Communication and organisation.
Willingness to learn
GSCE Maths & English at 9-4 or A*- C or equivalent
Sports Leadership or Sport Coaching qualification preferable
(If you do not possess the qualifications already, you will be expected to work towards and achieve them in order to complete your apprenticeship)
Employment with WISE Academies as a Physical Education Co-ordinator or Sports Coach.
Employment as a TA in a school.
Experience to support an application to university for a teaching qualification.
Paperwork tasks, organisation and social media promotions will be expected as part of the role.
Successful applicants will be required to have a clear DBS certificate.
Travel may be provided depending on individual circumstances.
