- Ability to listen to and follow instruction
- Attention to detail
- UK Driving license preferred
- Some knowledge and experience on a farm preferred but not essential
- Recognising physical requirements required for practical tasks including manual handling (hay bales, livestock)
- Good communication skills
Genuine interest in farming
Recognition of working outside in all weathers (hot, cold, wet)
Approachable and able to take constructive guidance
English and maths GCSE's 9-2 / A-E or equivalent
Possible full time recruitment on completion of achievement of apprenticeship programme.
All of the working week will be spent outdoors or in a covered, external area.
Seasonal work patterns may change or have over time available – such as lambing season and harvest.
