A Fantastic opportunity has arisen for the successful candidate to work alongside experienced workers, whilst working towards gaining their qualification at Level 2 in Environmental Conservation.

You will mainly carry out pest control activities on a variety of locations including Gateshead, Newcastle, Hexham. The Environmental Conservation apprenticeship is the perfect stepping stone into the world of pest control.  You will be expected to be creative and bring new ideas. You will effectively manage customer expectations. You will share knowledge and new ideas where required. You will carry out the work to the required standards with efficiency and quality expected by your supervisor (with support and training). You will be expected to work within the terms and conditions of your contract of employment and adhere to company policies, procedures, instructions, values and behaviours.

Future prospects: Progression to next level apprenticeship, In House training with employer, Full Time employment

Training to be provided: Level 2 Environmental Conservation.

Skills required: Practical nature, A passion about the environment, Understanding of the Pest Cntrol industry, Self-motivated, Excellent Customer Service skills, Works Accurately, be able to work as part of a team. Experience of working in a customer service environment would be advantageous. Good communication skills, team working.

Reality check: Due to the locations of this apprenticeship the employer is looking for someone who has a driving license. It is important that you are willing wo work hard and attend work promptly. Respect and communication is KEY! You must be able to take instructions and act on them appropriately.

Important Information:

You will be required to work to the terms and conditions of your contract. You may be required to work early morning, late evenings and weekend on occasion.
