Small Accountancy firm that is growing very quickly. We are relocating from Seahouses to our new office in Alnwick having taken over another business.
Vacancy short description: Office Administrator / Accounts/Tax Assistant/ Apprentice
Working within a small office environment, you will deal expected to deal with all aspects of Office Administration but also have an active part in dealing with accounts production for sole traders, limited companies, partnerships, etc. as well as dealing with tax returns and tax compliance work. Must be prepared to adapt and have a hands on approach to work
Training to be provided: Full Training will be provided in all aspects of the Position.
Vacancy full description:
Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
High level of numeracy.
Good IT Skills with experience of Accounts Production Software. (Microsoft excel, SAGE, Xero, Quickbooks etc would all be advantageous.
Good verbal and communication Skills.
Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
Good time management and ability to work to deadlines.
Personal qualities: Approachable and friendly, dedicated, attention to detail
Qualifications required: GCSE Grade A-C in Maths and English (or equivalent). Functional skills will be undertaken at College by applicants without this qualification.
Future prospects: Full time employment
Reality check: You will be working at a desk/reception in an office based environment, using IT on a daily basis.
