An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our busy company as a Business Administration Apprentice to support our office staff.

You will be learning to carry out general office duties, including but not limited to:

  • Liaising with current clients and customers
  • Dealing with new clients and customers
  • Supporting the company by processing and recording all relevant administration and enquiries
  • Greeting visitors and providing refreshments
  • Telephone support
  • Photocopying and scanning
  • Updating contact lists
  • General filing and office housekeeping
  • Incoming/Outgoing Post processing

Skills required: Very good IT skills and logical thinker, good team player and communicator, willing to support other staff when required. Ability to prioritise and well organised to manage workload. Confident to ask questions when necessary. Driving licence and car preferred.

Personal qualities: Friendly, polite and approachable when public facing very good personal hygiene, well-mannered and courteous. Calm, patient and level-headed.

Qualifications required: GCSE Grade A-C in Maths and English (or equivalent). Functional skills will be undertaken at College by applicants without this qualification.

Training Provided: Level 3 Business Admin

Future prospects: Full time employment.

Reality check: You will be in a working in an office environment with other members of staff on a day to day basis. You must have a general awareness of the importance of Data Protection.
