Houghton Country Ltd is a specialist equestrian and country store. We offer a wide range of equestrian clothing and equipment for the horse and dog along with a range of country wear.
Working within an office environment, you will be carrying out all aspects of Office Administration but also have an active part in dealing with web orders, returns, etc.
Training to be provided: Full training with employer to Level 2 in Business Administration, supported by Northumberland College.

All aspects of general office administration
Deal with incoming calls
Deal with customer face to face or over phone
Respond to emails
Take over the phone orders
Process Exchanges & Refunds
Check & correct stock levels
Upload products to Multichannel websites
Book in new stock
Price checking within websites
Covering instore (lunch / understaff)
Taking cash / card payments
Assist packing team to dispatch internet orders
Picking internet orders
General House Keeping
Good level of English and maths preferred
Good IT Skills
Good verbal and communication skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Good time management
Personal qualities: Approachable and friendly, dedicated, attention to detail, excellent personal hygiene
Qualifications required: GCSE Grade A-C in Maths and English (or equivalent). Functional skills will be undertaken at College by applicants without this qualification.
Future prospects: Full time employment
Reality check: You will be working in an office based environment, using IT on a daily basis.
Additional Important Information:
Equestrian knowledge would be an advantage. The role at times could be physical and may involve lifting.
