The Rural Skills team offer short practical based courses aimed at the Agriculture, Horticulture Arboriculture, Landscaping and Countryside industries that lead to NPTC and other Certificates of Competence.
Legislation expects every worker to be trained and competent
when using specialist equipment. Rural skills offer the best option
for those wishing to maintain their professional status or gain new
qualifications and skills that will enable them take on new areas
of work or gain employment.
The courses that we offer include the skills and legislative
requirements that insurance companies and government organisations
require from the modern professional. We work closely with
employers and customers to ensure that they get the right training
and gain the required certificates of competence. Our tutors are
highly skilled professionals in their field and have extensive
industry experience and up to date skills. Often assessors
themselves they can prepare our clients to get through the tests
and assessments at the end of every course.
Courses can be held at our Kirkley Hall Campus or arranged at
the place of work.
