Who is the course for?

This course is for people who are employed in the land based sector, particularly arboriculture, or those seeking employment in this field.

Do I need any formal qualifications?

You will need to have the NPTC Certificate of Competences 0020-03 and 0020-04 (0020-12) and 0021-11

What will I study on the course?

You will study restrain root plates and trees under horizontal and vertical stress, process wind-blown and wind damaged trees.

The course runs for three days.

Your progress will be assessed on a separate day to be confirmed at the time of booking, this will take 2 hours

After completing the course you could apply for another Certificate of Competence training course e.g. Climb a Tree and Perform Aerial Rescue or Use of a Chainsaw from a Rope and Harness.
