This course is for people who are employed in the land based industry, mainly agriculture.

Do I need any formal qualifications?

You will need to an interest in the course and some practical experience of tractors would be beneficial, but no formal qualifications are necessary.

What will I study on the course?

You will study legislation applicable to the industry, safety checks, maintenance and pre-use checks on tractors, safe operation of the tractor and attachments.

The course is covered over 2days. The assessment is taken on another day.

Your assessment of competence takes place on a day to be confirmed at the time of booking this will take. 2 hours.

After completing the course you could apply for another certificate of competence training course of a relevant type e.g. Safe Use of Pesticides training course.
