Who is the course for?
The courses is designed for anyone who is interested in a career in catering, but do not yet know which particular area they wish to pursue, or who feel they need extra support in a particular area of the Hospitality Industry.
Do I need any formal qualifications?
You should have two GCSE at Grade F or above and an interest in hospitality and catering. Mature students with no formal qualifications are welcomed.
What will I study on the course?
You will prepare and cook food within the production, training and pastry kitchens. Ideal if you work or want to work in the food and beverage, food preparation or cooking areas of the hospitality industry. You will be expected to take part in coffee, lunch and evening dinner services.
