Who is the course for?
This course is for people who are employed in the land based industry, mainly agricultural, forestry or amenity horticulture.
Do I need any formal qualifications?
You will need to an interest in the course and some practical use of machines would be beneficial, but no formal qualifications are necessary.
What will I study on the course?
You will study legal requirements, safe driving techniques, potential dangers of driving on rough terrain and slopes, function of controls, daily maintenance, pre-start checks, driving ATV in a range of different ground conditions with or without trailer, safe parking, cleaning and checking.
