Who is the course for?

This course is for anyone with some welding experience, whether it s a qualification or industry experience.

Do I need any formal qualifications?

Ideally you will have a minimum of a level 2 qualification in welding fabrication or 2 years welding experience in the industry.

What will I study on the course?

This is a practical course to get you to the relevant standards to get you to the complete a coded welding certification test.

This is an 18 week course (1 x 3 hours per week)

At the end of the 18 week course with the welding team, they will judge your performance to ensure you are capable of passing a coded test.

You could complete a City and Guilds Course alongside or a visual welding inspection course

As this is training to sit a welder's certification test, this course does not have a certificate.
