Who is the course for?

This course is for anyone with some welding experience, whether it s a qualification or industry experience.

Do I need any formal qualifications?

Ideally you will have a minimum of a level 2 qualification in welding fabrication or 2 years welding experience in the industry.

What will I study on the course?

This Course is a practical test, which is ran in accordance with the welding standards, such as BS EN 9606-1 or ASME IX

This is a one day course which is governed by TWI

Upon completion of your coded weld test your test piece will be entered for testing at an independent test house, these will run tests according to the relevant standards.

You could also complete a welding inspection course alongside this.

Approved welding industry code certificate, which is stamped and verified by TWI.

You could progress on to employment or train to do another coding course.
