Who is the course for?

For those already registered on the Street Works Qualification Register. The window for re-registration is 6 months before and 6 months after expiry of the earlier registration.

Failure to pass the test by 6 months after the expiry date will result in having to complete the full course again

Do I need any formal qualifications?

You only need to hold and existing valid SWQR card identifying the units you are qualified to carry out/monitor

What will I study on the course?

You will be given the opportunity to revise/train on your existing knowledge, and make yourself familiar with the reference documents.

There is no obligation on your behalf to undertake revision/training. You can request re-assessment only.

The course runs for 2 days depending on your options

You will complete a paper based multi choice question paper.

The time allocated for each question paper is 30 minutes

The pass mark for all re-assessment tests is 80% ( 8 of the 10 questions correct )

You will gain a SWQR card valid for a further 5 years

Should you fail any of the units you will be given the opportunity to re-sit those units. This may incur an additional cost
