This course is for people who are employed in the land based sector, particularly arboriculture, or those seeking employment in this field.

Do I need any formal qualifications?

You must have 0020-13 and 0020-12

What will I study on the course?

You will study safe use of equipment for yourself, other people and the environment. Recognise structure and condition of trees to be worked on, use a chainsaw and other pruning tools whilst maintaining a working position within the crown of a tree using an open harness.

The course runs for 3 days.

Your assessment of competence takes place on a day to be confirmed at the time of booking. It takes 2 hours.
