Who is the course for?

This course is for people who are employed in the land based industry, mainly agricultural, forestry or amenity horticulture.

Do I need any formal qualifications?

You will need to an interest in the course and some practical use of machines would be beneficial, but no formal qualifications are necessary.

What will I study on the course?

You will study legislation applicable to the industry, safety checks, maintenance and pre-use checks on cord strimmer or metal blade brush cutters, safe operation and post use maintenance.

The course is one day for strimmer or 2 days for strimmer and brush cutters.

Your assessment of competence takes place on a day to be confirmed at the time of booking. It takes I and a half to 2 hours.
