There are many satisfying career paths in hairdressing, beauty and holistic therapies.
Whether you choose to work in a salon, run your own business or specialise in related work or health situations, you could begin your career in our well equipped salons, being trained by qualified professionals, while providing a professional service to members of the public.
The Northumberland Health Spa and Northumberland Hair Studio at our Ashington campus are excellent training venues to develop specialist skills required for the industry.
The two Simply Students training salons in the centre of Berwick, run as part of the Berwick Learning Partnership with Berwick Community High School, have excellent facilities for hair and beauty training.
As well as learning the practical skills required in our salons, a package of theoretical training ensures you can achieve the qualifications you need to start out in your chosen career.
