If you’re the sporty type, love the outdoors or are planning a career in the uniformed services, we offer the facilities and training to prepare and qualify you for your first move.

Facilities include fully equipped sports halls and fitness suites at both our main sites – Ashington and Kirkley Hall. We also have a huge sports field and a high ropes course, plus a water sports centre at Blyth, with access to some of the most beautiful and challenging countryside in England for outdoor sporting activities.

We are registered with many of the national training organisations for sport and leisure, and our courses range from level 1 – 3 in sport science, outdoor education and uniformed services.

In addition to the full time courses, students get the opportunity to gain valuable industry related qualifications and have access to a wide range of leisure activities.

Outdoor activity instructor, fitness or gym instructor, police, army, fire service, or teaching are just some of the careers available to you if you study a course in sport and leisure, outdoor industries or uniformed public services.
