

If you are considering starting a career in the children and young people’s workforce, the Early Years department offers a range of full time courses from entry level to level 3 to help you progress in your chosen profession.
Training with Northumberland College could help you qualify to work in the children and young people’s workforce in children’s centres, pre-schools, day nurseries and nursery classes in primary schools.
The department has a vocationally qualified, experienced team who deliver externally validated courses to a very high standard.
We work closely with professional organisations, employers and higher education institutions to ensure all training is current and relevant for the workplace.
CACHE (Council for Awards in Children’s Care and Education) qualifications give you the skills, knowledge and capacity to pursue a career in the children and young people’s workforce.
