We offer a wide range of higher education courses at our Ashington and Kirkley Hall campuses, and Berwick main centre including:

• BSc in Applied Computing
• Foundation Degree for Teaching Assistants
• Foundation Degree in Early Years Practice (Birth to Five Years)
• HNC in General Engineering
• HNC/D Hospitality Management
• HNC/D in Animal Management
• HNC/D in Equine Management
If you want to study at university after a break from education, the Higher Education Foundation Course (HEFC) offers access to a number of university courses. Each HEFC single subject is a level 3 qualification and may be viewed by universities as being similar to an A Level.
HE access funds
The Access to Learning Fund (ALF) provides discretionary financial support to help students access and remain in higher education. The ALF is essentially for students who are not eligible for other sources of funding but need financial help to cover the cost of studying.
