Repaying your Student Loan
You will not start to make repayments until you earn over £21,000 a year. If your income falls below £21,000, your repayments will stop. You will not start to make repayments until the year you complete your course or three years from the start of your course, whichever is earlier.
The repayment rate is 9% of your income, above the first £21,000, the amount you repay will depend entirely on what you earn, not on how much you borrowed. Any outstanding balance is written off after 30 years.
