

Northumberland College offers a range training programmes to school students aged 14-16, with schools that we are in partnership with.
This is a practical vocational route where school students can work towards nationally recognised qualifications which can help students to access career routes in their chosen area including progression onto apprenticeship programmes.
The college has long, established links with schools in Northumberland and other North East counties and offers a wide range of vocationally related courses, specifically for year 10 and 11 students, in a number of different areas, click here for a full list of subjects.
These options are decided in Year 9 in school and students attend college for one day per week in Years 10 and 11.
Schools are invited to get in touch with Helen Norris, Schools Liaison Coordinator at helen.norris@northland.ac.uk to discuss individual school students who would benefit from vocational options. This can be done on an individual or group basis.
