Train to Gain

Train to Gain is a Government-sponsored programme which aims to improve skills in the workplace to help businesses improve quality and productivity to make them more competitive.

Northumberland College's Train to Gain team can offer a skills assessment for your business, matching your needs with fully funded and subsidised training courses.

We can help your business improve productivity and competitiveness by ensuring that your employees have the right skills to do the best job.

Whatever training you need, we can almost certainly offer. If a fully funded first full Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ course is not suitable, we'll find a tailored, subsidised course which is just the job.

View our Train to Gain leaflet here. Alternatively,  you can call our dedicated employer line on 01670 841200, keying in options 1 and 3.

Weather forces college closures

Northumberland College was forced to close its centres this morning (Thursday) due to the ongoing snow.

All students are advised that there will be no lessons this afternoon or evening at any centres. The college expects to open as normal again tomorrow (Friday).

The college phone system is currently down, so we are unable to take any calls.

Engineers are working hard to fix the problem and hope to have the system back up and running soon. In the meantime, you can email advice.centre@northland.ac.uk or use the Live support service via the button on this home page to access our contact centre staff.

Apologies for any inconvenience.
