Gaining an Apprenticeship not only means you can earn money and get hands on practical work experience whilst you learn but it also increases your future employment prospects in your chosen career.
Our wide range of Apprenticeships and Advanced Apprenticeships are available to people aged 16+ in a wide range of career paths.
Training and assessment is flexible – provided in both the workplace, at the college and by ‘blended learning’, which includes e-learning from home. Apprenticeships last between one and four years – and to qualify for an Apprenticeship you must have an employer.
All Apprentices follow an Apprenticeship Framework, consisting of a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ), key skills qualifications, a technical certificate and employment rights and responsibilities.
The Level 2 Apprenticeship framework is equivalent to five GCSEs at grades A*-C, while the Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship is equivalent to two A-Levels.
By gaining an Apprenticeship qualification, employees give themselves an excellent chance of improving their overall employment prospects.
The employer gains too, with a well trained workforce, increased productivity and performance and an increased competitive edge.
