Countryside And Environment

Countryside and environment

If you have an interest in the preservation of a sustainable environment, the countryside and natural habitats then you would find a career in this industry very rewarding.

If your chosen career is in environment and countryside management or countryside recreation, then we will have a course for you.

Our grounds at Kirkley Hall give students hands on experience and extensive expertise in managing a large, varied and historic estate, including woodland, grassland, hedgerows and aquatic habitats.

We work closely with those involved in the countryside management industry and you will gain hands on experience of putting plans into practice, maintaining and improving the environment at the College and sites throughout Northumberland and beyond.

There are many career opportunities in this rewarding sector and our courses could prepare you to work in a variety of jobs including countryside ranger, conservation worker or wildlife warden.
