Please state as fully as possible what it is you are requesting. The College will comply with the legislation and will satisfy your request as fully as possible within the 20 working days deadline. We will acknowledge receipt when a request is received.
The FOI applies to information relating to the College as a public body. If you wish to obtain information about yourself the Data Protection Act 1998 will apply.
Data protection provides you, the data subject, with a right to a copy of the information we hold about you. Personal data about other people cannot be released if this would mean a breach of the Act.
To enable us to deal with your request for personal data effectively then please write to The Data Quality Manager, by email to foi@northland.ac.uk or fax to 01670 841201. Please state precisely what information you are requesting. Once we have received your request we will have 40 days in which to process it. We will acknowledge receipt when a request is received.
If you are unhappy with the way we deal with your request for information please request a copy of our official complaints procedure.
If our internal consideration of your complaint fails to satisfy you can make a request for an independent review, in writing, to the Information Commissioner.
